The Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS) 2024-2025 application period is now open. This international scholarship is also known as the Malaysian Government Scholarship 2024.The Malaysian Government Scholarship (MIS) 2024 initiative supports postgraduate education for talented and excellent international students from all around the world, allowing them to study in Malaysia without financial constraints. This fully financed Malaysia Scholarship intends to establish the country as a global hub of academic excellence. The Malaysian Government Scholarship for Foreign Students strives to attract, motivate, and retain talented foreign students. This will allow graduate students with outstanding academic records and extracurricular activities to study at Malaysia’s best universities. It provides a diverse choice of master’s programs for international students.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for Malaysian Government Scholarship are

• Applicants must be graduates or international students.
• The applicant must be no older than 40 years for a master’s degree
• The applicant must be no older than 45 years for a PhD.
• They must intend to do full-time postgraduate study in Malaysia.  
• Master’s applicants must have a great and brilliant academic record, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0. 
• PhD aspirants must also have exceptional grades and a CGPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Furthermore, applicants must submit a written proposal of at least 1,000 words related to their subject of study.
• International students must have proof of their English language proficiency, like IELTS or TOEFL, in order to apply for the scholarship program.

• A certified copy of the applicant’s academic transcript.
• For a master’s scholarship, applicants must provide their undergraduate transcripts, while for a PhD scholarship, they must additionally submit transcripts of their master’s studies.
• Applicants must submit an official certifying document issued by the applicant’s university that defines the university’s grading method if an applicant’s transcript does not include information on CGPA, marks, or score percentage.
• Admission letter from the above-mentioned Malaysian university research proposal.
